Recently, the coal grading, classification, clean, and highly efficient comprehensive utilization project (referred to as the "Shaanxi Longhua Comprehensive Utilization Project") of Shaanxi Longhua Group Coal Industry Technology Development Co., Ltd., EPC-contracted by China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. under China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation, reached a significant milestone—the smooth handover of the melamine plant. As a key project in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Shaanxi Province and Yulin City, it integrates advanced technologies such as clean coal gasification, ammonia synthesis, and low-temperature methanol washing, setting a benchmark for the clean, efficient, and high-value transformation of coal resources.
In this project, FKW provided passivation air compressors and nitrogen compressors, assisting Wuhuan Engineering in achieving the successful handover of China's first melamine plant adopting fifth-generation European technology. Upon completion, the plant will produce 500,000 tons/year of synthetic ammonia, 800,000 tons/year of urea, and 60,000 tons/year of melamine. This milestone holds great significance for extending, supplementing, and strengthening the coal industry chain, enhancing the added value of coal resources, and realizing the clean, efficient, high-end, and diversified transformation of coal resources.
